QUALITY SYSTEMS SPECIALIST (NIGHT AND WEEKEND SHIFTS AVAILABLE)

Location: Spring Hill, TN

The Quality Systems Specialist is responsible for overseeing the Quality Management System by ensuring quality products meet internal and customer specifications.

  • Ensure compliance with established regulations and customer requirements, including GMPs as listed in 21 CFR 111 and 117, and
    Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) scheme.
  • Review and approve completed production work orders;
  • Assure that every aspect of batch records is reconciled( final Product yield, label reconciliation, waste, etc.) and documented
    completely;
  • Good Documentation practices and record keeping;
  • Complete QC Daily reports
  • Oversee and maintain internal audit program;
  • Oversee and maintain non-conformance program;
  • Responsible for external communications regarding complaint handling;
  • Oversee and maintain traceability system;
  • Provides document control support, as needed;

FINISHED PRODUCT COORDINATOR (WEEKEND DAY SHIFT)

Location: Spring Hill, TN

The Finished Product Coordinator is responsible to oversee the production, the release and approval of the production work order according to internal and customer specifications.

  • Release and approve completed production work orders;
  • Monitor and track production schedule to determine upcoming lab and quarantine requests;
  • Review lab testing paperwork to ensure all test results match product specifications;
  • Creation of all COAs, including those sent to the customer;
  • Review and release quarantine product based on management approval;
  • Issue Quality (QA) holds per QA management’s disposition;
  • Run ERP system reports as needed;
  • E-File documents in quality management system and ERP system;
  • Follow cGMP guidelines and processes as established in department SOPs;

LEAD BLENDING OPERATOR (Mon-Thurs) Evenings

Location: Spring Hill, TN

The Lead Blending Operator supports the daily operations of the blending room, provides training and guidance to Blending Operators, ensures proper procedures are followed to meet assigned targets, and maintains safety and quality of products.

  • Provide direction and encouragement to staff;
  • Assign staff to rooms and tasks, and monitor staff performance;
  • Be familiar with company policies (such as SOPs) to complete all assignments;

MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN D-Shift (Fri-Sun) 5:00PM-5:30AM

Location: Spring Hill, TN

The Mechanical Maintenance Technician performs  a variety of preventive maintenance and machine repair duties according to manufacturer equipment service manuals, factory guidelines, and management’s instructions; in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) in the maintenance department and within GMP and ‘food grade work’ guidelines.

  • Adhere to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), SOP’s, equipment, and safety practices;
  • Comply with and promote all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations and the wearing of all required PPE;
  • Promptly address mechanical breakdown issues, production line adjustment issues, equipment swap-out requirements (lot coders, conveyors, sealing / closure equipment such as bag sealers and capping machines, etc.), identify and assist in resolution of any safety issues in regard to any aspect of the overall facility, production lines and the warehouse;
  • Facilitate and maintain 5-S implementation and ongoing requirements;
  • Assist in projects for facility improvement, capability expansion and efficiency improvements;

PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR - SECONDARY (Mon-Thurs) Evening/Night

Location: Spring Hill, TN

The Production Supervisor- Secondary is responsible for overseeing the Powder Fill Department and ensuring employees follow safety procedures and produce quality products.

  • Champion the Company’s core values.
  • Developing and supervising direct reports in a manner that fosters accountability and a safe sense of urgency;
  • Oversee and supervise the execution of approved processes to manufacture high quality bottles, bags and stick packs that meet customer specifications and aligns with the companies OEE goals and financial requirements;
  • Make necessary staffing/overtime adjustments that align with the company’s weekly goals and direct labor requirements;
  • Manage production deadlines that align with internal and external customer expectations;
  • Ensure regulatory compliance in EHS; 
  • Maintain accountability using the Armada Production System. (Hour by Hour boards);  
  • Foster a continuous improvement culture, focused on achieving zero accidents and driving waste out of our manufacturing processes;
  • Train our employees on safe practices, encourage employee involvement, and address safety issues in the workplace;
  • Comply with rules of the government and certifying organizations including the FDA, Organic, Kosher, Halal, NSF and BRC;
  • Drive best practices in sanitation and cGMPs;
  • Customer retains must pass thorough inspection and be physically/systematically in the proper location;
  • Provide consistent leadership in managing people and providing all employees a positive, engaging work environment;
  • Complete monthly one on ones in a timely and professional manner;
  • Ensure execution of inventory transactions is being properly followed to insure accurate inventory of >95%;
  • Drive sustainment of all kaizen events;

LEAD MATERIAL HANDLER - RAWS / WAREHOUSE

Location: Spring Hill, TN

The Lead Material Handler- Raws/Warehouse oversees and completes raw pulls and ensures the warehouse is kept organized and clean while maintaining employee safety and quality of product

  • Provides direction and encouragement to Material Handlers;
  • Provide required training to staff;
  • Load and unload carriers;
  • Operate forklifts and follow strict forklift safety guidelines;
  • Pull raw ingredients according to both the work order and the priority list on the schedule using RFSmart to pick ingredient to the work order;
  • Stage ingredients for formulation;
  • Return remaining ingredients to inventory after measuring;
  • Consolidate products on shelves;

ENCAP MACHINE OPERATOR

Location: Spring Hill, TN

Job Overview

The Encaps Machine Operator is responsible to accurately process blend into a capsule form according to written instruction and in compliance with cGMPs and SOPs.

 

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment related to the encapsulation process, including: room and equipment cleanliness, machinery setup, product verification (before, during, and after product run)
  • Operate and monitor various manufacturing equipment to ensure proper production of product;
  • Able to disassemble, sanitize, and reassemble equipment;
  • Follow cGMP guidelines and processes as established in department SOPs;
  • Monitor product levels and notify lead of discrepancies;
  • Ensure product meets Armada high quality standards;
  • Package product according to customer specifications;
  • Accurate and timely recording of materials received, process parameters, product produced, scrap, and excess on specified documents
  • Verifies documentation is completed accurately, timely, and properly filed
  • Must be able to understand, verify, and convert gram and kilo scales

QA INSPECTOR C-SHIFT (Friday-Sunday 5:00AM - 5:30PM)

Location: Spring Hill, TN

The QA Inspector will perform routine auditing, equipment calibration, record keeping and overall verification that production areas follow cGMP and SOP requirements.

  • Routinely monitor employees to endure that cGMP standards and internal SOPs are followed in all areas of the production and warehouse;
  • Follow cGMP, food safety, Quality guidelines and processes as established in department SOPs;
  • Employee practices (hygiene and prevention of cross contamination);
  • Good documentation practices and record keeping;
  • Assure that every aspect of batch record is reconciled (final product yield, label reconciliation, waste) and documented completely;
  • Monitor temperature, humidity, scale operation and calibration;
  • Monitor overall plant sanitation and conduct swabbing as required by production;
  • Examine incoming raw materials, in-process products and outgoing product for overall quality;
  • Complete QC daily and weekly reports;
  • Monitor allergen handling throughout production by sanitations and product labeling;
  • Perform taste test and systematic blend release;
  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary.

INVENTORY CONTROL SPECIALIST

The Inventory Control Specialist maintains a high level of inventory accuracy and product integrity by monitoring and counting inventory levels and product movement, and researching and correcting discrepancies.

  • Count designated product daily;
  • Research inventory discrepancies;
  • Identify root cause of discrepancies and correct adjustments;
  • Track and report non-conforming product;
  • Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner;

The Assistant Lead Powder Fill Operator supports the overall production processes in the powder fill room, maintains employee safety, and quality of product.

The AMS Operator completes detailed production processes in the Powder Fill room while maintaining employee safety and quality of product. 

  • Operate and monitor various manufacturing equipment to ensure proper production of product;
  • Ensure scales are calibrated and equipment is prepared before production run;
  • Monitor product levels and notify lead of discrepancies;
  • Place scoops and desiccants in bottles as required;
  • Place lids on bottles as required;
  • Inspect and monitor product quality including, lot codes, labels, & lid placement;
  • Ensure all product meets Armada high quality standards;
  • Clean production area and surface when required;
  • Package product into containers according to customer specifications;
  • Follow cGMP guidelines and processes as established in department SOPs;
  • Able to disassemble, sanitize, and reassemble AMS and conveyer belts;
